NoMad Las Vegas to become The Reserve at Park MGM on the strip

A full rebrand is happening on the Las Vegas strip, as the NoMad hotel is to transition into The Reserve at Park MGM over the coming weeks.

The change was announced via MGM Resorts, on December 1, with the company to take over the 293 rooms and suites.

As part of the transition, several NoMad venues will unveil refreshed identities, including the NoMad Pool which will be renamed The Terrace Pool, the NoMad Library will become The Library, and the NoMad bar will be called The Reserve Bar.

The full rebrand will take effect on December 17 and it’s anticipated that in early 2026, The Reserve at Park MGM will join Marriott Bonvoy’s Autograph Collection as part of MGM Resorts’ long-term strategic licensing partnership with the company.

MGM Resorts continues to invest in Las Vegas

With this new addition soon to be under their belt, the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy will encompass 13 destinations on the iconic strip, with these including the Bellagio, a Luxury Collection Resort & Casino; ARIA Resort & Casino, Autograph Collection; The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Autograph Collection; and Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, MGM Collection, among others.

The MGM brand is a significant one in the city of Nevada, with the company having recently committed to another major upgrade as it completed a $300 million room and suite remodel at the Grand Hotel & Casino in November.

Through this investment, a further 111 suites were added to the hotel’s collection , bringing the total to 753, with these ranging from 675 feet to 1,784 feet. The brand has also debuted a number of new experiences recently too, including a dining venue inspired by Netflix shows, a tropical-inspired day club called Palm Tree Beach Club, and the FRIENDS Experience.

This comes at a time when Las Vegas has had a lot of attention, as some suggest there has been a slump in Sin City. At the end of October, during the Q3 financial and operating results, the CFO of MGM Resorts International, Jonathan Halkyard, said: “We are seeing encouraging signs of stability in Las Vegas with the return of the group and convention season and the completion of the MGM Grand room remodel.”
